Allows school districts and charter schools to offer an optional one-semester firearm marksmanship course called the Arizona Gun Safety Program Course as an elective.

Course instruction shall be jointly developed by the Arizona Game and Fish Commission, Department of Public Safety, and private firearms organizations, covering gun safety rules, firearm operation, history, constitutional rights, and shooting range practice.

Students completing the course must demonstrate safe firearm discharge ability and receive a certificate of accomplishment upon completion.

Instructors must be certified by the Arizona Game and Fish Department or the National Rifle Association of America.

Schools must arrange for adequate shooting range access for students enrolled in the course, with no expansion or limitation of liability for any person under other laws.
