AZ HB2042

Creates a new criminal offense for motor vehicle occupants who attempt to hire or pick up passengers for work while stopped on a street, roadway, or highway if the vehicle blocks or impedes normal traffic movement.

Prohibits persons from entering a stopped motor vehicle on a street, roadway, or highway to be hired and transported to a work location when the vehicle blocks or impedes traffic.

Classifies violation of either provision as a class 3 misdemeanor.
