Adds a new aggravating circumstance for sentencing: use, threatened use, or possession of a deadly weapon during commission of an offense if the defendant was a prohibited possessor as defined in section 13-3101.

Makes aggravated assault under section 13-1204(A)(2) a class 2 felony if the defendant was a prohibited possessor at the time of the offense.

Requires that sentences for aggravated assault on a peace officer be imposed consecutively to any other sentence the person is currently serving if they were a prohibited possessor at the time of the offense.

Clarifies sentencing classifications for aggravated assault committed on a peace officer or prosecutor, and specifies that aggravated assault on a victim under fifteen years of age is punishable as a class 2 felony.
