Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 13-2503 regarding escape in the second degree classification and penalties.

Creates a new category (subsection A, paragraph 4) for escape or attempted escape from the Arizona State Hospital if the person was committed pursuant to title 36, chapter 37, classified as a class 6 felony.

Maintains existing penalties: escape from correctional facilities or while in custody for felony arrests/charges is a class 5 felony with consecutive sentencing; escape from the Arizona State Hospital under other specified statutes remains a class 2 misdemeanor.

Requires sentences imposed under the new provision to run consecutively to any sentence of imprisonment or term of community supervision, consistent with existing escape penalties.
