Amends Arizona Revised Statutes sections 16-903 and 38-291 to remove requirements that elected officials resign before running for other offices.

Repeals section 38-296, which previously established the "resign to run" requirement for incumbent public officers seeking nomination or election to other offices.

Removes the designation in section 16-903 that filing a campaign committee does not constitute a formal declaration of candidacy under the repealed statute.

Removes vacancy in office trigger in section 38-291 that previously occurred when an elected official violated the resign-to-run requirement.

Becomes effective only if Arizona voters approve repeal of Article XXII, Section 18 of the Arizona Constitution at the next general election.
