AZ HB2460

Creates new law prohibiting employers from terminating or threatening to terminate employees who leave work to attend to a child's emergency after being notified by school employees, community workers, or law enforcement.

Applies to employees who are acting as parents, guardians, or custodians of a child and receive emergency notifications during work hours.

Allows employers to terminate or threaten termination of employees who "excessively abuse" the protections provided under this law.

Amends Title 23, Chapter 2, Article 1 of Arizona Revised Statutes by adding section 23-204.
