AZ HB2637

Amends Arizona law to specify that anabolic steroids are included in the definition of drugs that testing personnel must analyze for in dog racing samples taken before or after races.

Creates a new class 2 misdemeanor offense for trainers or owners who knowingly enter a dog in a race if the dog is drugged with anabolic steroids.

Modifies section 5-105 to explicitly require analysis of dog urine or saliva samples for anabolic steroids in addition to other drugs.

Reorganizes penalty provisions in section 5-115 by redesignating subsections and adding the new anabolic steroid misdemeanor as subsection C.
