• Purchasers of pseudoephedrine must provide government-issued identification and enter their name, address, and transaction details into a written or electronic log maintained by the permittee for at least two years.

• Violations of pseudoephedrine sales regulations are subject to civil penalties of up to $25,000, with civil penalties deposited into the addiction reduction and recovery fund for drug and alcohol abuse services and methamphetamine prevention programs.

• The state preempts all local regulation of pseudoephedrine, prohibiting counties, cities, towns, and other political subdivisions from imposing additional requirements beyond state law.
