Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 16-230 to modify the process for filling vacancies in county offices with four-year terms.

Requires the board of supervisors to appoint a replacement from three nominees submitted by the county political party's executive committee, rather than making appointments directly.

Mandates the county party chairman notify the executive committee within five business days of a vacancy, with the committee selecting three qualified nominees from the same political party within thirty days.

Maintains the requirement that if a vacancy occurs within the first two years of a term and before nomination papers are due, a primary election shall be held to determine candidates for the unexpired term, with a general election held at the next regular election.

Does not apply to vacancies in the office of governor.
