AZ HCR2006

Proposes an amendment to Article IX, Section 3 of the Arizona Constitution relating to annual taxation.

Requires the legislature to provide by law for an annual tax sufficient to cover ordinary state expenses and to pay any state debt within twenty-five years.

Specifies that all taxes levied and collected for state purposes must be paid into the state treasury.

Removes the phrase "in money only" from the constitutional requirement, making this a technical correction to the tax payment provision.

Directs the Secretary of State to submit this constitutional amendment to voters at the next general election.
