AZ HCR2007

Proposes constitutional amendment to Article X, Section 12 of Arizona Constitution to allow leasing or disposition of state trust lands for veterans' cemeteries.

Requires lands to be transferred to a state or federal agency or institution established solely for the benefit of veterans of the uniformed services.

Limits each cemetery parcel to a maximum of 250 acres and requires location in an urbanized area of Arizona selected by the veterans' services agency based on need.

Applies existing constitutional provisions regarding consideration and compensation of current lessees to any land dispositions under this section.

Includes reversion clause requiring lands to revert to the state if used for purposes other than a veterans' cemetery or necessary related operations and maintenance.
