AZ HCR2044

Proposes a constitutional amendment to Article IV, Part 2 of the Arizona Constitution by adding Section 26.

Prohibits transferring monies from any fund to the state general fund unless the source of those monies was originally an appropriation from the state general fund.

Exception allows transfers if the source fund is repealed by legislative action or by operation of law.

Requires the Secretary of State to submit the proposition to voters at the next general election for approval.
