Allows concealed handgun permit holders to carry firearms on premises of on-sale liquor retailers unless the licensee posts a sign prohibiting weapons in a specific format and location.

Requires prohibition signs to display a pictogram of a firearm with a red circle and line, the text "no firearms allowed pursuant to A.R.S. section 4-229", and be posted within 20 feet of each register, at every entrance, or behind the bar in conspicuous locations.

Establishes affirmative defenses to firearm possession violations if the person was not informed of the posted notice, the notice was not properly posted, or the notice was posted less than 30 days before the violation.

Adds a condition to unlawful firearm possession on on-sale retailer premises requiring that a person know the possession of a firearm is prohibited.

Prohibits any person in possession of a firearm on on-sale retailer premises from consuming spirituous liquor.
