AZ SB1103

Authorizes the Arizona Department of Corrections to purchase additional prison beds from private contractors if offered at 50% or more below the current contracted price, from the effective date through June 30, 2012.

Requires the department to prioritize purchasing discounted additional beds from private contractors over securing comparable beds at higher prices.

Designates the act as an emergency measure effective immediately upon enactment.
