Prohibits employers from refusing to grant leave of absence to Arizona legislators for fulfilling their official duties as elected officials.

Allows employers to exclude the period of legislative absence from consideration when determining vacation eligibility and vacation pay amounts.

Requires employers to maintain seniority and precedence for legislators on leave and restore them to their previous position or a higher commensurate position upon return.

Classifies violation of these protections as a class 3 misdemeanor offense.
