Requires the Division of Developmental Disabilities to establish minimum qualifications for persons providing music therapy services through contracts to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Mandates that music therapists must have current certification from a national certification board for music therapists at minimum.

Defines "music therapy" as implementing habilitation goals through clinical and evidence-based music therapy interventions to accomplish individualized goals consistent with each person's individual program plan.

Services provided by qualified music therapists meeting these standards shall be identified as music therapy.
