SB 1386 Summary

• Prohibits condominium associations from restricting rental periods when rentals are otherwise permitted by condominium documents.

• Prohibits planned community associations from restricting rental periods when rentals are otherwise permitted by community documents.

• Prevents associations from prescribing minimum or maximum rental period lengths for unit/property owners.

• Applies to both condominiums governed under Arizona Revised Statutes Title 33, Chapter 9 and planned communities governed under Title 33, Chapter 16.
