AZ SB1400

Amends Arizona groundwater code by adding section 45-465.04 to Title 45, Chapter 2, Article 5.

Allows holders of irrigation grandfathered rights in active management areas to use additional groundwater beyond normal limits to comply with dust control requirements.

Dust control requirements must be imposed under Title 49, Chapter 3 or enforced by county authorities.

Additional groundwater usage is limited strictly to the amount necessary for dust control compliance and cannot be used to increase irrigation water supply for farming purposes.
