AZ SCR1038

Proposes a constitutional amendment to Article V, Section 12 of the Arizona Constitution to require a 20 percent salary reduction for all Arizona legislature members for fiscal years 2011 and 2012.

Adds new subsection C to the constitution establishing the temporary salary reduction as notwithstanding any other law.

Makes technical corrections and clarifications to existing constitutional language regarding compensation procedures and commission recommendations.

Requires submission of the proposed amendment to Arizona voters at the next general election for approval per Article XXI of the Arizona Constitution.
