AZ HB2014

Amends Arizona law on interference with or disruption of educational institutions by adding new subsection G prohibiting universities, colleges, and community colleges from enacting policies that prohibit concealed weapons possession by permit holders or transportation/storage of firearms.

Maintains existing penalties: class 6 felony for threatening physical injury or damage to educational institutions; class 1 misdemeanor for unlawful entry or refusing to leave when ordered by administrative officials.

Preserves authority of educational institutions to enforce disciplinary rules and order violators to leave property, with forfeiture provisions for illegally possessed weapons.

Exempts private educational institutions from the rulemaking requirements of the statute.

Does not affect approved gun safety programs conducted on school campuses by school districts.
