AZ HB2126

Amends Arizona law to allow the Department of Transportation to enter into intergovernmental agreements with political subdivisions for the improvement or maintenance of rest areas.

Authorizes the ADOT director to enter into agreements with private entities, including nonprofit organizations, for the improvement or maintenance of rest areas, allowing entities to voluntarily provide these services.

Requires the Department of Transportation to reprioritize appropriated monies to ensure rest areas in the state remain open to the maximum extent possible.
