Requires homeowners' associations for condominiums and planned communities to register with the Secretary of State beginning January 1, 2012, instead of recording notices with county recorders.

Associations must provide the Secretary of State with the association name, address, phone number, community name, number of units, cross streets of the location, and year the community was established.

Secretary of State must post all registration information on its website in a publicly accessible form by March 1, 2012.

Associations must submit updated information to the Secretary of State within 90 days of any changes to their registered information.

Applies only to condominiums regulated under title 33, chapter 9 and planned communities regulated under title 33, chapter 16, excluding timeshare plans.
