Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-421 to define and justify the defensive display of a firearm when a reasonable person would believe physical force is immediately necessary for self-defense.

Defensive display of a firearm includes verbally informing another person of firearm possession, exposing or displaying a firearm in a protective manner, or placing a hand on a firearm contained in a holster, pocket, purse, or other containment.

Prohibits the defensive display justification from applying to persons who intentionally provoke another to use unlawful physical force or who use a firearm during commission of a serious offense or violent crime.

Clarifies that the law does not require a defensive display of a firearm before using physical force or threats when otherwise justified in self-defense.
