Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 41-906 regarding the return of alien and nonresident public charges from state institutions.

Updates references to federal immigration officials from "United States commissioner general of immigration" to "assistant secretary of the United States immigration and customs enforcement and the director of the United States citizenship and immigration services."

Replaces gendered pronouns ("he") with gender-neutral language ("the person") in the residency requirement provision.

Removes comma after "industrial school" in subsection A regarding aliens discharged from state prison.

Maintains existing provisions authorizing the governor to cooperate with federal and foreign officials and other states for arranging returns of alien and nonresident public charges from state hospitals, industrial schools, and prisons.
