Amends section 13-805 of Arizona Revised Statutes to modify procedures for criminal restitution orders upon sentencing.

Trial courts must enter a criminal restitution order in favor of the state for any unpaid fines, costs, incarceration costs, fees, surcharges, or assessments when a defendant is sentenced.

Trial courts must also enter a criminal restitution order in favor of each person entitled to restitution for any unpaid balance of restitution ordered.

Criminal restitution orders may be recorded and enforced as civil judgments without requiring renewal, do not expire until paid in full, and may accrue interest under section 44-1201.

The clerk of court must notify all persons entitled to restitution of the criminal restitution order, and such orders are considered criminal penalties for federal bankruptcy purposes.
