AZ HB2235

Amends section 15-979 to allow the Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (ASDB) to receive monies from the instructional improvement fund in the same manner as school districts and charter schools.

Establishes a separate instructional improvement fund for ASDB consisting of monies received from the department of education, to be administered by ASDB.

Makes monies in the ASDB instructional improvement fund exempt from lapsing appropriations provisions and continuously appropriated.

Requires the bill to be effective only upon affirmative vote of at least three-fourths of the members of each house of the legislature, per Arizona Constitution article IV, part 1, section 1.
