Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 8-201 to expand the definition of "abuse" in juvenile court proceedings.

Adds "physical exhaustion or torture of a child" as a form of child abuse that can be subject to juvenile court jurisdiction.

The new abuse definition applies to acts committed by individuals having care, custody, and control of a child.

This change became effective as part of Arizona's Fiftieth Legislature, First Regular Session in 2011.
