School district governing boards must post meeting agendas at least seven days before meetings, rather than the standard twenty-four hours required for other public bodies.

The seven-day agenda posting requirement does not apply in cases of actual emergencies, which for school districts are defined as events seriously threatening district functioning or public health, welfare, or safety.

Agendas must list specific matters to be discussed, considered, or decided at the meeting, with exceptions only for emergency matters or executive session descriptions.

The time period for agenda availability includes Saturdays if the public has physical access to posted locations plus website posting, but excludes Sundays and prescribed holidays.
