AZ HB2270

Establishes a Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport study committee consisting of 7 members: two state senators of different political parties (appointed by senate president), two state representatives of different political parties (appointed by house speaker), and three public members (appointed by governor, senate president, and house speaker).

Committee shall study the airport's expansion capacity, ability to service a larger metropolitan area, feasibility of additional airports to relieve air traffic and road congestion, and economic impacts on access, efficiency, and availability for commercial interests and the public.

Committee must submit findings and recommendations to the governor, senate president, and house speaker by November 1, 2013, with a copy provided to the secretary of state.

Committee is automatically repealed on September 30, 2014.
