Prohibits employers from terminating an employee who is a parent, guardian, or custodian for leaving work after being notified by a school employee, community worker, or law enforcement officer of a child's emergency during work hours.

Prohibits employers from threatening to terminate an employee for receiving notification of a child's emergency and leaving work to attend to it.

Allows employers to terminate or threaten termination only if an employee excessively abuses the protections provided in this statute.

Amends Title 23, Chapter 2, Article 1 of the Arizona Revised Statutes by adding section 23-204.
