Establishes the department of weights and measures transfer study committee to examine the feasibility of merging the department of weights and measures into the Arizona department of agriculture.

Committee membership consists of 9 members including the directors of agriculture and weights and measures, representatives of retail grocers, fuel distributors, and agricultural community, one public member, and three legislative committee chairs.

Committee must submit a report with recommendations for legislative action to the governor, president of the senate, and speaker of the house by December 31, 2011.

The committee and this legislation are repealed effective September 30, 2012.
