Amends section 13-3701 of Arizona Revised Statutes relating to unlawful use of food stamps.

Changes reference from "state department of economic security" to "the" department of economic security as a technical correction in the statute language.

Maintains existing penalties: class 1 misdemeanor for fraudulent food stamp use of $100 or less, or class 6 felony if over $100.

Keeps class 5 felony charges for counterfeiting/altering food stamps or electronic benefit transfer cards, and for misappropriation by public employees.

Defines "food stamps" to include both food stamp coupons and electronically transferred food stamp program benefits.
