Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 28-1822 regarding the selection of designated representatives to a multistate highway transportation agreement cooperating committee.

Designates the chairperson of the Senate Transportation Committee and the chairperson of the House of Representatives Transportation Committee as the state's designated representatives, or allows them to designate other legislators or state agency officials to serve instead.

Requires each house committee chairperson to designate one alternative designated representative who must be either a legislator or state agency official to serve in the chairperson's absence.

Changes the language describing the alternative representative's role from "their absence" to "the chairperson's absence" as a technical correction.
