AZ HB2418

Adds a new duty to the State Board of Education to conduct an annual study ensuring textbooks used in Arizona school districts and charter schools align with state academic standards adopted pursuant to sections 15-701 and 15-701.01.

Requires the State Board of Education to notify the textbook publisher and the relevant school district governing board or charter school governing body if a textbook is found to not be aligned with the academic standards.

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 15-203 regarding the powers and duties of the State Board of Education.
