Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-3701 to expand the definition of "sexually violent offense" to include convictions for lesser offenses resulting solely from plea agreements when originally charged with a sexually violent offense.

Adds new subsection (f) to the definition of "sexually violent offense" to ensure that defendants who plead guilty to reduced charges cannot avoid sexually violent person classification based on plea bargains.

Applies to cases where a person is charged with an offense listed in the sexually violent offense statutes but accepts a plea agreement resulting in conviction for a lesser offense.

Maintains existing definitions and classifications for sexually violent persons, including mental disorder determinations and requirements for civil commitment proceedings.
