Amends section 41-1604 of Arizona Revised Statutes regarding the State Department of Corrections.

Requires parole or community supervision officers to supervise no more than an average of 65 adults on community supervision or parole.

Maintains existing director duties including responsibility for overall department operations, institutional administration, community supervision services, and development of statewide correctional programs.

Authorizes the director to adopt rules, create or consolidate divisions, transfer employees and inmates, delegate administrative functions, and appoint peace officers for department-related duties.
