Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-1837 regarding financial responsibility for emergency medical services provided to indigent patients.

Removes reference to section 11-297.02 from the statute, making a technical correction to how county liability for indigent emergency medical services is established.

Maintains that counties remain liable to ambulance services for transportation costs and to emergency facilities for reasonable medical service costs for indigent patients until transfer to a county hospital or designated facility.

Preserves existing exemption for air ambulances and ambulance helicopters operated by the department, with no charges to patients for emergency medical care provided by department personnel.
