Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 42-1002 to make technical corrections regarding the Department of Revenue director position.

Changes the phrase "the direction, operation and control of the department is" to "are" in subsection B to correct the verb agreement.

Replaces gendered pronouns "his" and "he" with gender-neutral language "the governor's" and "the governor" in subsection D describing the director recruitment and selection process.

Maintains the existing requirements that the director be appointed by the governor from candidates screened by a search committee and serve at the governor's pleasure.

Preserves the role of the Department of Administration in assisting with job descriptions, recruitment, and candidate evaluation.
