Requires the Arizona Senate Judiciary Committee and House Judiciary Committee to hold a joint hearing within seven days after a prisoner escapes from a private prison or private contractor-operated detention facility in the state.

Mandates testimony and questioning at the hearing from the governor or designee, the state Department of Corrections director, the Department of Public Safety director, and a representative of the private prison or contractor operating the facility where the escape occurred.

Requires the Senate President and House Speaker to call meetings of their respective judiciary committees if the legislature is not in session when an escape occurs, to ensure compliance with the hearing requirement.
