State Board of Education shall annually publish a list of basic skills pupils should possess to be placed in a particular grade level, including kindergarten programs.

State Board of Education shall annually publish a list of basic skills that should be acquired by pupils by the end of a particular grade level, including kindergarten programs.

Arizona Board of Regents shall annually publish lists of basic skills and prerequisite courses required for admission to community colleges and universities, and for admission into particular postsecondary education programs.

School districts, charter schools, universities, and community college districts must provide copies of these basic skills lists to any person on request and post them on their respective websites.

The bill does not alter existing pupil promotion or retention procedures, which remain governed by existing statutes.
