Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Title 36, Chapter 29, Article 1 by adding section 36-2903.08 regarding the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) administration.

Requires AHCCCS screening agencies to determine during the eligibility screening process whether an applicant has ever served in the United States armed services.

Mandates that if an applicant's military service is confirmed, the screening agency must transmit the applicant's name and information to the Arizona Department of Veterans' Services.

Directs the Department of Veterans' Services benefit counselors to determine if the applicant is eligible for veterans' benefits and assist them in obtaining those benefits if eligible.
