AZ HCR2013

Proposes an amendment to Article VI, Section 14 of the Arizona Constitution regarding superior court original jurisdiction.

Amends the constitutional language describing superior court jurisdiction over divorce cases by striking "Divorce and for" and replacing it with "Annulment and dissolution of marriage."

Makes a technical correction to the existing constitutional provision without substantively changing the court's jurisdictional authority.

Requires voter approval through a statewide election before the amendment becomes effective.

The Secretary of State must place the proposition on the ballot at the next general election as specified in Article XXI of the Arizona Constitution.
