AZ HCR2030

Proposes constitutional amendment to Article II, Section 12 and Article IX, Section 10 of the Arizona Constitution to allow private school tuition voucher programs.

Establishes annual private school tuition vouchers of $5,500 (adjusted annually by consumer price index changes) for pupils attending public schools with average classroom size of 35 or more students.

Exempts tuition voucher programs from constitutional prohibitions on using public money for religious worship, exercise, instruction, or support of religious establishments.

Extends voucher eligibility to pupils with disabilities and pupils who have been in foster care regardless of public school classroom size.

Requires submission of the constitutional amendment to Arizona voters at the next general election for approval.
