IBM has invested $6 billion annually in research and development and employs over 400,000 workers globally, with 6,000 employees in the Tucson area.

The company is recognized for leadership in corporate practices including diversity, equal opportunity employment beginning 11 years before the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and management training on a massive scale.

The Arizona Legislature recognizes IBM's one hundredth anniversary and extends best wishes for the company's continued success.
