AZ SB1025

Adds section 36-207 requiring state hospital employees and volunteers to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance card or apply for one within seven working days of beginning employment or volunteer work.

Requires employees and volunteers to certify on notarized forms that they have not been convicted of or admitted to committing specified offenses listed in section 41-1758.07, subsection B.

Prohibits state hospitals and the Arizona Community Protection and Treatment Center from employing or allowing volunteer work by anyone who has been denied a fingerprint clearance card or lacks interim approval from the board of fingerprinting.

Amends sections 41-1758, 41-1758.01, and 41-1758.07 to include section 36-207 in the list of statutes requiring fingerprint background checks and updates related definitions and procedures.
