AZ SB1052

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 19-119 regarding deceptive mailings in elections.

Prohibits individuals or committees from delivering or mailing documents that falsely claim to be authorized, approved, required, or sent by the state, county, city, town, or other political subdivision in order to influence election outcomes.

Establishes civil liability for violations, with penalties equal to twice the mailing cost or $500, whichever is greater.

Authorizes the attorney general, county attorney, city or town attorney, or other legal representative of the political subdivision to assess the civil penalty.
