Prohibits any person from using a handheld wireless communication device while operating a motor vehicle in Arizona.

First offense results in a civil penalty of $100.

Second offense results in a civil penalty of $250 plus court-ordered community service.

Third or subsequent offense results in a civil penalty of $500 plus court-ordered community service.

Civil penalties are doubled if the handheld device violation causes a motor vehicle accident.
