SB 1115 Summary

• Eliminates numerous quarterly and semiannual reporting requirements to the Joint Legislative Budget Committee (JLBC) and converts them to annual reports due on or before September 30 or December 31 of each year.

• Removes a mandatory report by lottery directors on employee performance pay distribution and modifies reporting requirements across multiple state agencies including education, corrections, health services, and environmental quality.

• Streamlines reporting from various state funds and programs (anti-racketeering revolving fund, school facilities board, postsecondary education commission, utilities fees, transition programs, and others) to reduce administrative burden on state agencies.

• Consolidates duplicate reporting provisions and removes redundant language across multiple Arizona statutes related to fiscal reporting, fund management, and agency accountability measures.

• Effective for most sections immediately upon enactment, except for amendments to sections 5-557 and 5-559 (lottery reporting) which become effective June 30, 2012.
