Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 41-1005 to add a new exemption (subsection G) for the Arizona Department of Housing from standard rulemaking requirements.

The Department of Housing is exempted from Articles 2, 3, 4, and 5 of the state rulemaking chapter for policies and rules related to application, award, or allocation of funding or low-income housing tax credits under federal programs.

The exemption requires the Department of Housing to provide reasonable notice to the public, an opportunity for public comment on the exact text of the policy or rule, and a public hearing or other notice and comment procedures as required by applicable federal law or guidance.

Corrects internal cross-references in the statute by changing a reference from paragraph 23 to paragraph 22 in subsection B regarding state transportation board rules.
