Changes "Thereupon" to "The board shall immediately" in the notice provision to clarify the board's responsibility to publish notice of a disincorporation petition.

Replaces "which" with "that" in the notice language and changes "upon" to "on" as grammatical corrections.

Requires the board to publish notice containing the full petition, designating the time and place for qualified electors who are property taxpayers to vote on whether to approve or reject the disincorporation petition.

Maintains provisions allowing alternative notice by posting in three public places if no weekly newspaper exists in the municipality, with affidavit proof recorded as conclusive evidence.
